At City Line Park’s extended area in Brooklyn, we reimagined a forgotten greenspace, transforming it into a vibrant, living habitat that serves nature and urban life day and night. Through a palette of pollinator-friendly native plantings, we created a sensory experience that awakens sight, smell, and touch. Innovative lighting design weaves through the landscape, reshaping this neglected corner into a dynamic and adaptive model for revitalizing underutilized urban spaces.

This project celebrates the power of thoughtful design to decompress nature and city life.

The interplay of diverse plantings and sustainable lighting strategies supports vital pollinator ecosystems in all seasons, while inviting the community into an immersive, restorative environment. More than a singular transformation, it offers a replicable blueprint—a vision for reshaping neglected urban spaces into purposeful, resilient habitat that enrich both the environment and community everyday experience.
