Art Against Violance

Warsaw / Poland /

1738

We invite you to rediscover Warsaw Praga! Not the grand, architecturally rich capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, but Praga—a district of another European capital, Warsaw. Often overshadowed by its reputation for grit and crime, Praga reveals a unique beauty beneath its storied past. Once the domain of mobsters, a so-called capital of schemes, and a refuge for those who defied the idealized image of Warsaw’s citizens, Praga stood apart. Cast across the Vistula, neglected and sullied, while the rest of the city flourished in its pursuit of perfection. Yet, Praga thrived in its own way, evolving into an independent, raw entity—a fertile ground for Art that defies convention.

This Art, fierce and untamed, does not fit within the polished frames of Warsaw’s left bank. It is Wild, Authentic, and Liberal. To see it, one must simply open their eyes and witness its growth, unyielding and alive. Praga’s beauty is not static-it is in constant bloom.
