The main problem in this square is the car-centric design with no infrastructure for alternative mobility. Iuliu Maniu square is located in the central focus point of the city, and by the scheme of 15 minutes cities we can acknowledge that the area is accessible by foot or by bike from every point in this town.
There is also a lack of vegetation, especially on the streets and on the western part the biodiversity is poor. The place lacks security, the crossings are long and unsafe and the park is fragmented by street parking.
